Useful Tips When Considering The Music For Your Wedding Ceremony

 - Give yourself plenty of time to arrange the right songs to fit your ceremony.

 - If you’re having your ceremony officiated by a priest, make sure to ask if there are any conditions about the music. He may require that only sacred/gospel songs are to be performed at the ceremony. Confirming this early will prevent you from having to alter any song choices.

 - Keep the song choices upbeat where possible. Avoid that song that makes you an emotional wreck. Think of the photos!

My rates are very reasonable and competitive. I don’t advertise my rates on the site as there are a number of factors I consider when making a quote (travel, mid week or weekend wedding etc). & also out of respect for my clients’ privacy. Please get in touch anytime by email or phone for a quote.

What do you charge?

A small deposit is required 2 weeks after a booking has been confirmed.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes I’m willing to travel anywhere in Ireland. If there is a particularly long distance to travel there may be a slight increase in the overall cost but only a small amount. I’m based in Dublin.

Are you willing to travel?

Can you tell me a bit about the drinks reception?

Yes absolutely. More often than not I’ll learn a song specifically for a wedding. I enjoy learning songs and it’s an important part of the service I provide. If there is a substantial amount of work involved in learning new songs an additional fee may be required. This can all be confirmed before committing to a booking.

Are you able to play specific requests?

I play an upbeat set for about 2 hrs, basically up until you get called for dinner. It can really add to the day & keep people in great form for the evening ahead. This is an optional extra BUT to say it's better than having a playlist on a stereo is an understatment. Setlist available on request.

Yes. I have my own PA sound system which is suitable for any sized venue. It's also small and neat looking so won't intrude on any nice photo's.

Do you have your own sound system?

Yes. I have been performing at wedding ceremonies for 10 years and have plenty of references you can make contact with. I’m also happy for people to ask about me on forums such as WeddingsOnline etc.

Do you have references?

Having consulted with you about song choices etc I’ll be fully aware of the format of your ceremony long before the big day. I won’t need to be present for your rehearsal.

Will you need to come to our wedding rehearsal?

I always arrive at least 1 hour before the ceremony.  I'll check the sound and make sure all is going to plan before your guests arrive.

When will you arrive at the venue?

Would it be ok for a family member to perform a song at the ceremony?

Yep! Mostly a quick run through of a song before the ceremony is fine. If something requires a little more work I'm happy to rehearse in the weeks coming up to the wedding. I add an additional fee for rehearsals but nothing severe!
